End of Day 1, I think, just tired really
So as much as I’m uncertain about which day I’m on (the perils of starting late), I’m not too worried as I can only work until Friday anyway, so no risk of going over the deadline =)…
So what’s been done today?

So I spruced up the map screen, but other than that, there’s very little going on here still. I wanted to get some of the gameplay loop stuff working before I focused on this. So other than minor tweaks, it’s been pretty ignored today.
So the Quest screen is one of the new screens, the idea here is that you select one of the quests available, pick some peeps and then they go on a merry adventure and probably don’t come back.
The Peep screen is a place for me to stick all the peeps, I was going to do more here, but for now it will remain pretty bare.
The Log screen was where I wanted to show the entire game log, instead of the last few entries. I’ve added it in because there’s some bug with the scroll, where it behaves badly when it’s nested. It’s a library issue and will get fixed at some point, so this is my simple workaround.
So let’s look at some “gameplay”, here we’ve chosen one of our Peeps and sent them off on a quest and somewhat predictably they’ve died. There’s a few cleanup bits I need to do, but broadly speaking it looks ok for now.
As you can see there’s a more complete log available, hopefully that proves helpful?
And yes that was a stream of consciousness…
